Every setting in Dead Stock Detective — dormancy thresholds, locations, excluded SKUs, the digest, and your plan.
All settings live under the Settings area of the app.
Dormancy thresholds
Set the day counts that define “dead” and the ageing bands. The first value (“dead after”) is when a SKU first counts as dead; the others set the ageing-band boundaries. Save and the dashboard re-scores immediately. Defaults: 60 / 90 / 120 / 180 days.
Locations
If you stock across multiple locations, choose which ones count toward the scan. Excluding a location removes its stock from the trapped-capital totals and from the per-location breakdown.
Excluded SKUs
Products you never want flagged — display stock, samples, seasonal lines — can be excluded. Open any dead-stock row and choose Exclude from scan; excluded SKUs are listed here and can be removed at any time.
Email digest (Pro)
A weekly summary of your dead stock and the change since last week, sent to an email of your choice. Pick the day and time. Available on Pro.
