How to uninstall

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps and sales channels.
2. Find Nearby and click Delete (or Uninstall).
3. Confirm.

You don't need to remove the theme block first — once the app is gone, its block stops rendering. If you want a clean theme, you can also remove the Nearby block from your product template in the theme customiser.

What happens to your data

• Uninstalling cancels any active subscription through Shopify.
• Shopify sends Nearby the app/uninstalled webhook, and Nearby deletes your shop's synced data and settings.
• 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends a final shop/redact request, and Nearby erases any residual data.

Reinstalling

If you reinstall later, Nearby starts fresh: it re-imports your products, locations, and inventory from Shopify, and you set up the widget again. Previous settings are not restored.
