Troubleshooting
When BatchBrew isn't doing what you'd expect, start here.
Specific problems get specific answers. If yours isn't here, email support. Your message will probably become a new entry on this page.
"Not enough stock to make one"
You're trying to log production but BatchBrew is blocking it. Tap the warning to see which materials are short. It shows what you need, what you have, and the shortfall.
Three options:
- Restock the missing material first if you actually have it physically
- Edit the recipe if the quantity per unit is wrong
- Correct the material's stock if the count is out of sync with reality
My stock dropped but I didn't make anything
Open History. Look for a production log you didn't intend to create. Tap it to see what was made, when, and the recipe used. To reverse it, edit the relevant material's stock manually (Materials → tap the material → Edit → set the stock back).
A future version will let you reverse a production log directly.
I can only add 5 products / 15 materials
You're on the free plan. The cap is 5 recipes and 15 materials. Upgrade to Maker (£14.99/mo) for unlimited. Open Settings → Plan → Upgrade to Maker.
"Your Maker plan ends on…"
Your subscription has been cancelled but you're inside the grace period. You'll keep Maker features until that date. To stay on Maker, open Settings → Plan → Resume plan.
I forgot my password
On the login screen, tap Forgot password. Enter your email and you'll get a reset link. Click it, set a new password, sign in.
hCaptcha keeps failing
If the bot check on signup or login keeps refusing you, try a different network (cellular vs Wi-Fi), a different browser, or wait a minute and retry. hCaptcha occasionally throttles requests it doesn't recognise.
I changed currency but old logs still show the old symbol
Currency changes apply to new logs and to all displays going forward. Old logs aren't rewritten. The price they were created at stays on the record so historical profit numbers stay accurate.
The dashboard isn't updating after I added something
BatchBrew listens for changes via Supabase Realtime. If a tab gets out of sync, refresh the page. Most updates land within a second.
